"What Can You Do For Care at Home?"

"What Can You Do For Care at Home?"

Our dentist discusses what you can do for temporary relief of a toothache in Bellflower

"My staff and I can get you out of pain in no time, however, there are some things you can do to help yourself at home during the short wait for your appointment. If you have a broken or knocked out tooth, soak the tooth in milk until we can help. The calcium in the milk helps keep your tooth strong. Also, rinsing you mouth with salt water can be helpful if you have damaged the inside of your mouth or lips. You can use an over the counter pain medication to help as well. Lastly, if you have a filling, crown or other item fall out, you can temporarily use denture glue to secure it. "
